Street vendors in Venice

This photo isn't what I would like it to be because I was shy about getting into the faces of these guys. Still the immigrant street vendors who work without a permit are a common sight. Here they are standing on the fondamenta that runs along the lagoon next to the Palazzo Ducale heading towards St. Elena.

This is from the NFC playoff game between the Saints and the Vikings. It is at Harry's Corner, a bar in the French Quarter.

Firearm Free Zone

This sign is at the entrance to the University of New Orleans. To me, it is shocking that this kind of announcement needs to be made. Although, I guess that it is similar to the "Drug Free Zone" signs that surround New York City public schools.
